Our program integrates scuba diving with mental health therapy to provide a comprehensive approach to improvemental health

Conducted By Expert

The four-hour session is conducted by a diving instructor and counselor and is designed to be implemented as part of the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) session in a pool.

Mental Health Benefits

Breathing

The Breathing module focuses on teaching participants how to manage stress through proper breathing techniques and how to use these techniques in real-life situations.

Weightlessness

The weightlessness module
focuses on exploring the physical and mental benefits of weightlessness and how this experience can be applied to improve mental health.

Program Overview

The program begins with a diving session that teaches basic scuba diving skills and encourages participants to experience the physical and mental benefits of scuba diving.

This is followed by a therapy session that uses the diving experience as a backdrop for exploring real-life situations and addressing mental health issues.

The session also includes techniques for self-care, such as deep breathing techniques, which participants can use in their daily lives to improve their overall well-being.

1. I Don't Know How to Swim. Can I Try the Dive2heal Scuba Diving Program?

Yes you can. Scuba diving and swimming use different kind of skill set and environment. You will be tought how to operate scuba equipments and diving skills during the pool session.

2. Does Dive2heal Issue Any Certificates?

Yes we are. There is a package for certification at the island. Under PADI. It will be released soon. Stay tuned!

3. Do We Need to Prepare Our Own Scuba Diving Equipment?

No you don’t. Scuba diving equipments are included in the pool session package. You just need to bring suitable and comfortable swimming attire, towel and change cloth.

4. Can a Pool Session Get a Certificate?

No you can’t. Pool session only for scuba diving try out and will be tought scuba diving basics. For certification you need 4 days course at the island.

5. What Is the Maximum Number of People in a Group?

We only limit 5 person per group to ensure quality and effectiveness.

6. Is There an Age Limit?

Anyone 10 years old and above are eligible to participate.

7. Pool Session for How Many Days? How Many Sessions?

Pool session package only for 1 day. The session will be 4 hours long.

8. Is There a Minimum Number of People to Join?

You can join solo or by group. Group are very welcome as it is more fun to dive with your friends and family.

9. When Is the Available Date?

The available dates will be updated at the website and facebook page. Please follow our page to stay updated.

10. I Have a License. Am I Suitable to Join the Pool Session?

Yes you can. Certified divers are welcome to join for refresher and buoyancy training. Don’t stay rusty, polish your skill and get wet at the island.

11. Where Is the Pool Located?

We operate our pool session at PJ Palm Sport Center.

12. Is It Necessary to Pay a Deposit?

Yes it is. We have to book the pool early. Deposit will not be returned if any cancellation or reschedule been made less than 7 days before the apoointment date.

13. Sessions in What Language?

Both our instructor and counsellor are well converse in Malay and English. The session will be conducted depends on the crowd.

14. What Will Be Learned in the Pool Session?

We will learn about scuba diving basic knowledge and skill. As scuba diving itself have therapeutic effects to mental health, we integrated and relate the skill and knowledge of scuba diving with real life situation. Mental health self care techniques and skills also will be tought during the 4 hours session.

15. What Will We Get From the Pool Session Package?

You will get 4 hours session with scuba diving instructor and registered counsellor. During 4 hours session you will be learning basic scuba diving and mental health therapy module. You can enjoy underwater world when you confidence and let us take photos of you for the memories. After the session lets have lunch together and reflect our experience.
